About me
I'm Lisa and I am a graduate of the London School of Soft Tissue Therapy (LSSM) with a BTEC Level 5 Diploma and I work from my clinic in Milton Keynes.
I became interested in sports massage after I qualified as a Personal Trainer. I was working as a trainer for a boot camp and quite a few people were coming in with injuries so I needed to adapt the exercises for them. It was then that I wanted to learn how I could help with the injuries and decided to do my Level 3 Sports Massage qualification. I got the bug and went on to do Level 4 and once I qualified, I worked around my full time job for a couple of years working as a Sports Massage Therapist. Then Covid happened and after that I decided I wanted to learn more about injury and rehab and gain clinical skills, so began studying my Level 5 Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy with the LSSM - the highest level currently available in the UK. I am fully insured and am a full member of the ISRM.
Soft Tissue Therapy is for everyone. Life in general can be quite stressful which can result in aches and pains. If these aches and pains are not dealt with they can become chronic. Soft Tissue Therapy can help if you are an office worker, sitting at the computer all day and getting a bit of neck pain, a trades person who is doing repetitive movements all the time and is getting sore shoulders, or you might just need a relaxing massage because you are having difficulty sleeping. My aim is, and has always been to help people to feel better, mentally and physically and Soft Tissue Therapy can do just that.
