Milton Keynes LSSM Level 5 ISRM Registered
Something hurts. Let’s find out why.
Sports massage, soft tissue therapy and injury rehab in Milton Keynes with Lisa. I don’t just work on the sore bit. I work out what made it sore, then give you the plan to keep it that way.
What I treat
Tell me where it hurts.
I’ll tell you where I’d look first.
Grouped by area. These are the things I see most often, and the honest version of where I would start looking.
Neck & head
Usually the desk, not the neck. I check your upper back and shoulders before I touch it.
- Neck pain and stiffness
- Tension headaches
- Desk and screen posture
- Whiplash, after the acute phase
- Jaw and TMJ tension
- Restricted head rotation
Shoulders & arms
Impingement, frozen shoulder, overhead pressing. We test the range first, then find what is guarding.
- Frozen shoulder
- Impingement and pinching
- Rotator cuff strain
- Upper back and trap tension
- Tennis and golfer’s elbow
- Overhead pressing pain
Lower back
Most low back pain I see in the clinic starts at the hips. That is where we look first.
- Non-specific lower back pain
- Sciatic-type leg pain
- Lifting and deadlift strain
- Morning stiffness
- Long-drive and desk ache
- Post-pregnancy back pain
Hips & glutes
Tight hips turn up as back pain, knee pain, or a slower parkrun. Sometimes all three at once.
- Hip flexor tightness
- Glute weakness
- Piriformis pain
- Reduced hip rotation
- Groin strain
- Hip pain when running
Hamstrings & calves
Hamstrings that keep tightening up are usually a strength problem, not a stretching one.
- Recurring hamstring tightness
- Hamstring strain rehab
- High hamstring tendon pain
- Calf strain and tightness
- Achilles tendon pain
- Sprinting and hill work
Knees, ankles & feet
Knee pain is often a hip or an ankle problem wearing a disguise. We assess the whole chain.
- Runner’s knee
- IT band pain
- Patellar tendon pain
- Knee pain on stairs
- Post-operative knee rehab
- Plantar fasciitis

About Lisa
Level 5 qualified.
Nosy by training.
I’m Lisa. I graduated from the London School of Soft Tissue Therapy with a Level 5 Diploma, I’m a registered member of the ISRM, and I’m a qualified Personal Trainer.
That last bit matters more than it sounds. It means I can look at how you move, not just how you feel on the couch, and give you rehab work that actually fits your training or your job.
Your first visit
What actually happens in the 75 minutes.
No mystery, no upsell. Here is the shape of a first appointment.
We talk
Your history, your pain, your training, your job, your sleep. What makes it worse and what makes it better. This is where most of the answer comes from.
We test
Functional movement, gait, mobility and strength testing. I need to see what your body does under load, not just what it reports lying down.
Hands on
Treatment in the same session. Soft tissue release, muscle energy techniques, trigger point work and myofascial release, matched to what the testing showed.
You leave with a plan
Two or three things to do at home, and an honest view on how many sessions this is likely to take. Sometimes the answer is one.
Treatments & prices
Straightforward pricing.
No packages to buy up front.
Half-hour sessions are £35. Every new client starts with the initial consultation so we have a proper baseline to work from.
Reviews
What clients say.
With the help of Lisa’s knowledge, hard work and practical advice I have been able to reduce my back pain and my poor hip mobility for the first time in months. She always has time to explain what she is doing and what the outcome hopefully will be. Lisa is happy to give advice on what you can do for yourself at home so that progress continues. Thank you Lisa for all you have done for me so far.FM
Lisa is brilliant. She’s super friendly, welcoming and a wealth of knowledge. I’d never been for a massage before so she explained all the basics to me, the different areas we could treat etc. and made me feel comfortable. After a few visits I could definitely feel the improvements! I’d recommend her to anyone who is looking for a massage therapist in MK!SP
Lisa is absolutely fantastic, she’s one of the best massage therapists I have been to, can highly recommend.AM
