About
Hello, I’m Lisa.
Level 5 qualified soft tissue therapist, ISRM registered, and a qualified Personal Trainer — working with people in Milton Keynes who want to know why, not just feel better for a week.
How I got here
I got tired of people being handed a sheet of stretches.
I came to soft tissue therapy through training. I saw too many people — including me — get told to rest, given a generic set of stretches, and then be surprised when the same thing came back six weeks later.
So I went and did it properly. A Level 5 Diploma at the London School of Soft Tissue Therapy, ISRM registration, and a Personal Training qualification alongside it, because treatment without loading is only ever half the job.
The result is that I can assess how you move, treat what I find, and then build the rehab that makes it stick — without handing you off halfway through.
Qualifications
The bits that matter.
- Level 5 Diploma
- Soft Tissue Therapy, London School of Soft Tissue Therapy (LSSM) — the highest widely recognised qualification in the field.
- ISRM registered
- Registered member of the Institute for Soft Tissue Therapists, with the insurance and CPD requirements that go with it.
- Personal Trainer
- Qualified PT, which is what lets me prescribe and progress real loading rather than a stretching handout.

How I work
Four things I will always do.
-
01
Explain what I am doing
You should never be lying on a couch wondering what is happening or why. If I am working somewhere that seems unrelated to your pain, I will tell you why before I start.
-
02
Give you the honest timescale
Including when that is longer than you want to hear, or when the answer is that one session should do it and you do not need to come back.
-
03
Send you home with something to do
Two or three things, not twenty. What happens in the other 167 hours of the week matters far more than the hour on my couch.
-
04
Refer you on if it is not mine
Some things need a GP, a consultant or a scan. Recognising that quickly is part of the job, and it is better for you than six sessions of the wrong thing.
Reviews
What clients say.
With the help of Lisa’s knowledge, hard work and practical advice I have been able to reduce my back pain and my poor hip mobility for the first time in months. She always has time to explain what she is doing and what the outcome hopefully will be. Lisa is happy to give advice on what you can do for yourself at home so that progress continues. Thank you Lisa for all you have done for me so far.FM
Lisa is brilliant. She’s super friendly, welcoming and a wealth of knowledge. I’d never been for a massage before so she explained all the basics to me, the different areas we could treat etc. and made me feel comfortable. After a few visits I could definitely feel the improvements! I’d recommend her to anyone who is looking for a massage therapist in MK!SP
Lisa is absolutely fantastic, she’s one of the best massage therapists I have been to, can highly recommend.AM
