Treatments

Initial Consultation

All new clients will need to have a consultation on their first appointment. During the initial assessment you will be asked about your health, injuries, pain, general lifestyle and how this affects your life. I will use a number of physical tests which may include functional tests, gait analysis, mobility and strength tests. This is so that we can decide the best course of treatment for you.

The first appointment is up to 75 mins. £65.

Soft Tissue Therapy

Soft tissue therapy is a clinical approach to treating muscle, fascia, and connective tissue. It is suitable for anyone experiencing pain, reduced mobility, or chronic muscular issues. This therapy addresses dysfunctions in soft tissues that affect posture, movement patterns, and overall musculoskeletal health. Techniques such as soft tissue release, muscle energy techniques, neuromuscular techniques and myofascial release may be used.

It can help with muscular pain, stress, headaches, migraines, frozen shoulder, hip and knee pain, jaw pain, sciatica and more.

Exercises may be given as part of a rehab plan.

Sports Massage

Sports massage is a type of manual therapy designed to help athletes prepare for peak performance, recover after workouts, and reduce injury risks. It focuses on manipulating muscle tissue to release tension, improve blood flow, and enhance mobility. It is more intense than a general massage and targets specific muscle groups affected by training.

Techniques used may include: deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, friction and compression and stretching and joint mobilisation.

Injury Rehab

Exercise rehabilitation is used for a variety of injuries and musculoskeletal conditions. I use functional movement and targeted rehab plans to reduce pain and improve range of movement to help you recover from injury. This is a treatment plan that doesn’t stop when you leave the clinic. For this to be effective, it requires you to continue the exercises at home for maximum benefit.

I want to help you understand your injury and help you get back into action and prevent problems coming back. Injury rehab can help with postural issues, chronic pain conditions, injuries and aid in your recovery after surgery.
